The classic Pinot Grigio rosé with immense drinkability and Italian class.
Pale coral pink, this is a dry, fresh and fruity rosé with delicate aromas of red berries. A delicate yet juicy palate with good intensity of ripe red berry and cherry fruit. A lightly creamy texture with zesty acidity, leading to a crisp, dry finish.
Established in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Their aim is to produce authentic, well-priced still and sparkling wines from local grape varieties. All aspects of production, from grape selection through to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling are meticulously overseen by Araldica's winemaking team of Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese. They source from a range of private growers and cooperatives, with whom we have long term relationships, principally in Veneto, Friuli, Lombardy, Sicily, Puglia, Abruzzo and Sardinia.
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness and transported to Adria's cellars where they are crushed, and the skins left in contact with the juice for 12 hours at low temperature before gentle pressing.
The addition of a small portion of Pinot Noir and Barbera grapes from the same vineyards, gives the delicate pink colour. After a slow, cool fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks the wine is bottled young to preserve freshness and aromas.
Serve with charcuterie, salads, chicken or seafood dishes.
